The cover art for “Our Daily Dread - Daily Reflections on Life’s Rejections” © Kevin McQuade (Unpublished) was first concieved in sketch by Mick Coulas. Valerie Gaudet sculpted “Agnes McHaggus” using aluminum/copper/wood armature, plaster, all planted in a child’s pair of slippers, then painted using acrylic paint augmented by airbrush. Valerie fashioned the toatser/toast from Crayola Model Magic, wire, cardboard and springs from ball point pens. Candace Lourdes designed a dress that would fit over Agnes’s odd body, and shot the photography that went back to Mick for a photoshop background. They all laughed out loud the whole time.
